Bebe Populous found she was rather nervous as she approached the gates of her son’s home. Brad had asked her to come over, and it was the first time she had visited his new place. She was pleased that her son’s nectar imports business was flourishing and that he was making plenty of money from it, but she was rather intimidated by the scale of his home.
Brad, the son who’d only been able to sleep on her lawn because she couldn’t afford to build a bedroom for her older kids, now owned the largest, grandest mansion in the area. It put Bebe’s small bungalow to shame. She wished she could own somewhere this size so that the children living at home could have more space. Four in one bedroom and two little ones in the nursery was manageable but she longed for them to be able to have more space, more freedom.
Brad welcomed his mother in and started chatting to her eagerly about how well his business was going. He had a new girlfriend, Angel, and he was feeling really happy with his lot – but there was something he would really appreciate his mum doing for him. He had to attend a large trade fair in California, but rumour had it that there were new batches of the best Nectar in the world, that made in Champs les Sims, about to be produced. The stock was highly valued and rare. He hoped Bebe could travel there for him and source some of the finest nectar to help his business.
Bebe agreed, once Asa, Declan and Cameron promised they were fine looking after the younger ones. This was the first time Bebe had been to France, and she was very excited. The sun was beaming on Champs les Sims that day and she felt good. She headed straight to the nectary to begin sourcing produce for Brad.
She enjoyed sampling the different fruity nectars. Several of them were sublime, just the kind of thing Brad and his customers were after. But as she sipped the samples, one of the other customers caught her eye. He was a very handsome man indeed…
Bebe approached the man, asking for his opinion on the nectars he had tasted that day…
She chatted to Elliot St James long into the afternoon. They tasted a range of nectars and he helped her decide which ones to order for Brad. They talked, and laughed. He was so easy to get along with… and so very, very attractive.
Elliot suggested they retire to the upstairs area of the nectary, where there were some more private rooms…
…and soon they were making out with an intensity Bebe hadn’t known for some time. It was true what they said about the French and kissing.
But as things were getting going, Elliot stopped. The mobile phone in his pocket started to vibrate. It was his wife, she was on her way to pick him up.
Bebe was disappointed and suggested they meet again the next day. She suggested going over to his place but he said it was impossible. His wife would be at home all day. Bebe suggested he pay her a visit at her hotel instead, then…
The next day, Bebe was incredibly excited as she ascended to the master suite in the hotel. It had been a little more expensive to stay in than the single room she’d been in so far, but it would be worth it.
Bebe waited in eager anticipation as she instructed the hotel staff to send Elliot straight up to her room.
Elliot didn’t disappoint. In fact, he was possibly the most experienced and exciting lover she’d ever known.
They lay back and chatted long into the night, both knowing this would be the last time they saw each other, both wanting to make the moment last as long as possible.
Bebe would miss Elliot when she returned home, but she smiled to herself a little as she lay next to the beautiful, funny, adorable Frenchman. It would not just be nectar she was bringing home with her…

Yay for a new baby daddy goal! 🙂
How’s she going to explain this one to Asa?

I don’t know if I’ll go for Egypt or China yet – this encounter glitched my game soooo bad. I should know better, the same thing happened in my legacy.

Good for Bebe! Finding a french man for herself! Her and Elliot are cute together and their child is going to be beautiful!
I can’t wait to read the next chapter Rad!

They are a cute couple. Elliot is rather handsome, wish there were more sims like him in the base game. WA women seem prettier in general, too.

Whew…quite an encounter. 😉
It glitched your game?! That’s no good…I hope it will work out!
I’m so happy that Brad is doing so well!

Mating with foreign sims is a bad thing (I don’t know about tourists to your home hood, probably not so bad) – I did it in the Dayes and so I should know better.
The Populous save now throws error 16s every other play session and the school bus doesn’t come so the kids miss school if I forget to send them.
In the Dayes, relationships got a bit messed up too but that seems OK here so far.
Of course, the file size is bloated up with WA too. I do want an Egyptian and Chinese daddy but might wait for tourists to visit or at least wait until late into the challenge. I may move the family to the Ambitions hood anyway, depending on what options that offers.
The irony is, I only sent Bebe to France in the first place because the Daye file got so glitched they couldn’t even go there and I wanted to check it was working OK!

I loved this update.
Wow at brad ending up tin Villa Alto!
I don’t and won’t have WA so… but Bebe did well there! Only funny thing to me is that Elliot St. Jmaes does not sound French at all! LOL! 🙂

I know, most of the French families DO sound French but maybe he’s an ex-pat or something.
I was incredibly surprised when Brad ended up there (and now he’s ‘rich’) but it really fits with him having that nectar LTW.

So strange how the timestream works for sims.
Maybe you’ll get lucky and this baby will inherit the hidden trait if the French have it.
It’s strange holidaying hasnt glitched up any of my games yet. Touch wood.

Be careful about having babies with foreign sims and you might be OK.
All three countries are meant to have hidden traits. We’ll see.

I don’t know about foreign sims, since you’re using TS3, but I found this update stunning and unsettling. And absolutely gorgeous!! The last couple of shots are beyond beautiful.
May 24, 2010 at 9:44 pm
Oh, World Adventures is beautiful itself. But glitchy as hell. I was very lucky with the shot of the feet, as they get under those covers so quickly in TS3!

Way to go, Brad! No wonder Bebe was a bit intimidated.
Sorry to hear her international intrigue has glitched your game. I hope it isn’t miserable to play.

I really think Bebe enjoyed her encounter a bit to much, but anyway Elliot St. James doesn’t sound so french to me.

No, maybe he moved there from England or something.
